About the Role
Sydecar is looking to hire a Content & Community Manager who is passionate about our mission of enabling thousands of new venture investors. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between our brand and our audience. You will embody the voice and tone of Sydecar through content creation, social media management, and direct engagement with our customers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is both passionate about the venture capital & startup ecosystem, and is excited to be Sydecar’s #1 cheerleader.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and expand Sydecar’s social media presence including content strategy, creation, execution, and community engagement.
- Create and post compelling content and copy across mediums, including social media, blog, email campaigns, product, and partnership collateral.
- Embody the voice of our company to our community, and the voice of the community to our company. Ensure consistent tone and messaging across platforms.
- Engage regularly with customers and potential customers across platforms to drive excitement about our mission and vision.
- Stay on top of emerging trends in our industry and monitor the digital presence of influential brands and individuals in our ecosystem.
- Explore new channels to grow our business and our brand, including IRL events, new social channels (Tiktok?!), and strategic partnerships.
About you:
- 3+ years of experience in a marketing, community, or content role, ideally at a start-up.
- A high-energy individual who is passionate about startups and venture capital.
- Stellar verbal and written communication skills, including experience copywriting and copyediting.
- Functional knowledge of key social media channels, a proven ability to use social platforms to amplify a brand, and a strong understanding of social media trends and analysis.
- Self-starter with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive within a fast-moving startup environment.
- Ideally (but not required) an avid Twitter user, experience creating your own inventive content for a digital platform.
