Touchdown Ventures
Are you an undergraduate student interested in venture capital?
Touchdown Ventures is launching a 12-week unpaid internship program that will provide venture capital classes and hands-on experience for those interested in exploring a career path in venture capital.
The program will start in January 2023 and last approximately 12 weeks. Touchdown will accept up to 10 undergraduate students into the program’s initial cohort.
This internship is a part-time, unpaid program. The program is designed so that students will be able to participate while still meeting the obligations of their current college or university as a student.
About the program:
The Touchdown Ventures College internship program will have two components:
1. Education
We will host weekly Zoom classes that will last one hour each and will teach students about fundamentals and best practices of venture capital, including how to evaluate potential venture capital investment opportunities.
Topics will include:· Venture Capital Strategy and Fund Formation· Deal Sourcing
· Deal Evaluation
· Due Diligence
· Transacting
· Portfolio Management
· Exiting
2. Experience
Students will also have the ability to gain venture capital experience by working directly with investment professionals at Touchdown Ventures. Students will be assigned to conduct industry research, and to source and evaluate potential investment opportunities. At the end of the program, each student will present a summary of their experience and learnings to the senior leadership team at Touchdown Ventures.
Practical experience to complete the internship is expected to require approximately five hours per week.

The application deadline is November 15, 2022. We are using a rolling admissions process, and we will make final admission decisions by November 30, 2022.
This is an unsalaried/unpaid position.

- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program (junior/senior year preferred)
- Superior work ethic, strong desire to learn, and uncompromising attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, research, and organizational skills
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Impressive academic record
- Ability to effectively manage a full academic workload and extracurricular responsibilities
